Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. You may, at any time, click on 'view basket' your shopping basket, and increase quantities, or delete items as you elect. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and the American Express Cards. We also accept PayPal.  If you are shopping from Europe or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

Payment is due at the time you place your order.

Our site is secure and you may shop with full confidence that your information with us is secure.

When you receive a confirmation of your order, this is to indicate merely that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.
 

We remain committed to a policy of no separate 'Handling Charge' on any order. Any 'Handling' is included in our flat shipping charge.

Shipping is based upon value of your order. Thus, we will charge the same to customers in Zone 1 (Florida) as we charge customers in Zone 8 (California).

IMPORTANT!
A minimum order requirement of $34.95 ($ 25.00 net in merchandise and $ 9.95 for shipping) is now set for our shopping cart. It simply is not cost effective to handle and ship smaller orders. 

We ship primarily via UPS Brown Label (Regular Ground).  We cannot quote shipping charges for UPS Blue Label or UPS Red Label, as both of these services are dimensional services.  Our products are relatively bulky and heavy.  Please contact us by phone if you require either Blue Label or Red Label service.  Your credit card details must be provided if we are to ship other than via regular UPS Brown Label.

For destination in Alaska or Hawaii, we will ship via the U.S. Postal Service. USPS Priority Mail is your only option since any shipment via UPS is simply too expensive. Ground Service via the US Postal Service would simply take too long and is not an option.  You must select the correct shipping method for these States if we are to process your order.

International orders are not accepted. Please visit our related site https://secure.german-lebkuchen.com where we will gladly address International Orders. This site will process your order and ship worldwide.
 

Delivery Schedule

We start shipping only after October 15th every year. Orders are processed as we receive them. We will normally send your order to you in 2-3 business days.  

Our International site ships 'year round' and you will receive the freshest product directly from Germany.  Shipping to your friends or relatives in Germany is free of charge. 
 

Back Orders - Substitutions

If your item is not in stock, we will NOT back order for you. Normally, we will mark the item "Out of Stock" and you will not even be able to order the product. Our primary selling season is too short and we have limited ability to reorder. 

If your item is out of stock, and the value of the item is above $ 10.00, we will make every effort to reach you either by E-Mail or phone and you have the option to select an alternative or you may delete this item from your order.

If the value of the item purchased is below $ 10.00, we reserve the right to substitute a similar item of equal or better value.  It we have nothing suitable, we will gladly refund your money.  The seasonal nature of our business and the RUSH to get the shipments to the final destinations leaves us very little time for repeated efforts to modify your order.

Please consider ordering early and select an early shipping date to assure you of your selection. Delayed shipping and Gift Service is available.

Tax Charges

For orders made from within the United States sales tax will be applied to all in state [Florida] orders. Our business is operated from Florida and we are obligated to collect sales tax on certain items. All other orders are tax free.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 256 bit encryption. You will connect directly to Authorize.Net where you may enter your credit card information securely. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

We also accept PayPal! All payments should be made to our parent company, i.e. sales@gdh-trading.com
